Police Log: Jan. 31, 2013 — Felony arrest

SCHUYLER FALLS — Three local men were arrested Jan. 6 in connection with a narcotic/drug paraphernalia possession incident.

The details of the incident could not be released Wednesday since the investigation is ongoing, said the Plattsburgh-based State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

All three men were arrested in the early morning hours of Jan. 6 on Flat Rock Road in the Town of Schuyler Falls, according to a State Police blotter entry.

Jessie J. Mashtare, 32, of Morrisonville was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, specifically a narcotic drug with intent to sell, a felony. Jessie was also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Joshua R. Mashtare, 30, of Plattsburgh was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, specifically a narcotic drug with intent to sell, a felony. Joshua was also charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Robert S. Gumlaw, 35, of Morrisonville was charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument, a misdemeanor, aggravated unlicensed opperation of a vehicle, a misdemeanor, and driving a motor vehicle with no license, an infraction, according to the blotter entry.
