PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh man was charged with felony drunken driving Feb. 26.
At about 2:48 a.m., Randy Bellin, 28, was driving eastbound on Broad Street in Plattsburgh when he ran a red light and drove up onto a curb, Plattsburgh City Police said.
Officers stopped Bellin’s vehicle, interviewed him and he failed field sobriety tests as well a breath screening tests, police said.
Bellin was charged with driving while intoxicated with a prior DWI conviction in the past 10 years and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, both felonies.
He was ticketed for passing a red light and unsafe lane movement.
Bellin was held for arraignment at 8:30 a.m. that morning in Plattsburgh City Court.
