PLATTSBURGH — A West Chazy woman was charged April 1 with assault and weapon possession.
A few minutes before 9 p.m., Jolene Caron, 28, was having an argument with another woman at Brunners Brauhaus bar on Bridge Street in Plattsburgh when Caron threw a glass at the woman, which struck her in the left temple, Plattsburgh City Police said.
The woman received about 11 stitches to close the wound, police said.
Caron was identified as the perpetrator by other bar patrons and she was arrested with assistance from State Police, City Police said.
She was charged with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both felonies.
Caron was arraigned in Plattsburgh City Court and sent to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
