PLATTSBURGH — Two Plattsburgh residents were arrested March 1 following an alleged domestic dispute.
Plattsburgh City Police were called to an apartment on U.S. Avenue in Plattsburgh at about 3:15 a.m. where they found two people with facial injuries, Plattsburgh City Police said.
They had assaulted each other, police said.
Renee Strack, 42, was charged with third-degree assault and Lewis Carter, 33, was charged with third-degree attempted assault, both misdemeanors.
Strack was further charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, for violating an order of protection preventing her from having contact with Lewis, police said.
Strack and Carter were arraigned in Plattsburgh City Court.
