CHAMPLAIN — A Champlain woman was injured Feb. 22 in a one-car accident.
Shortly before 7:43 p.m., Keilah J. Corrow, 18, was driving a 2003 Ford Taurus northbound on Southwick Road when she failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and lost control of the vehicle, exiting the east shoulder of the roadway and striking a snow embankment, State Police said.
The sedan overturned and came to rest on the driver’s side facing south, police said.
Police said they determined unsafe speed was a factor in the accident.
Corrow was taken to CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh after she complained of neck pain, police said.
She was ticketed for failure to keep right.
