CHAMPLAIN — A Malone man was arrested Tuesday near the Champlain Border Patrol Station for felony possession of marijuana.
Jacob M. Hugeboon, 17, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of marijuana.
More than eight ounces of marijuana were found in Hugeboon’s car Tuesday afternoon, according to a news release from the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department.
The drugs were seized by Sheriff’s Deputies who were assisting Border Patrol agents at an immigration checkpoint on Route 374 in the Town of Dannemora, the release said.
Hugeboon was arraigned in Plattsburgh Town Court and released on his own recognizance pending further court action.
