TICONDEROGA — A man was charged with criminal mischief Monday.
Kendall J. McLaughlin was charged with second-degree criminal mischief following an investigation that found he had been unlawfully collecting copper from various places in the area, Ticondergoa Police said.
McLaughlin is also charged with second-degree criminal tampering and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, both misdemeanors, according to a Ticonderoga Police Department blotter entry.
McLaughlin was arraigned and sent to Essex County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
He is scheduled to appear in court today.
The case remains under investigation, police said.
