DICKINSON — A Dickinson man was arrested on felony DWI charges Friday.
Malone-based State Police were investigating an animal cruelty complaint at the residence of Malcom C. Fye, 22, at 99 Church St. in the Town of Dickinson shortly after 5:30 p.m. when Fye drove up to his residence.
Upon interviewing Fye, police determined that he was driving while intoxicated.
Fye was arrested at 6:50 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08 percent with a prior offense, a felony; driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor; and neglect of an impounded animal, a misdemeanor.
He was arraigned at Dickinson Town Court and released on an appearance ticket. He was scheduled to reappear in court at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
