MORRISONVILLE — A Morrisonville man was charged Oct. 10 with possession of a forged instrument and petit larceny.
Bradley L. Hathaway, 30, was charged with four counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
Between April 9, 2013, and April 16, 2013, Hathaway allegedly stole four checks from the alleged victim’s Community Bank checking account, forging her signature and cashing the checks at Saleem’s gas station, according to Troop B Public Information Officer Jennifer Fleishman.
Hathaway made out the checks for $40, $50, $55 and $50, she said.
He was arraigned in Plattsburgh Town Court and was sent to the Clinton County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.
