PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh woman was injured in a two-car accident Oct. 12.

At about 7 p.m., a vehicle driven by Irene Wilson, 17, of Lyon Mountain, was traveling west on Cornelia Street when Wilson attempted to make a left-hand turn at the intersection with Prospect Avenue and struck a vehicle that was traveling eastbound on Cornelia Street, Plattsburgh City Police said.

That car’s driver, Konnor Baker, 25, of Plattsburgh, was taken to CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh after she complained of minor shoulder pain, police said.

Wilson’s passenger, Joshua LaVasseur, 18, of Plattsburgh was uninjured, police said.

Wilson was ticketed for failure to yield to the right of way while making a left-hand turn.
