Norman LaDuke, 45, of Plattsburgh pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and was sentenced to five years probation and an order of protection was put in place. LaDuke must provide a DNA sample and pay the DNA fee and also pay $4,190 in restitution. The charges stem from a January 2012 incident.

Anthony Laster, 24, of Upstate Correctional Facility in Malone pleaded guilty to first-degree attempted promoting prison contraband and was sentenced to one and a half to three years in state prison as a second felony offender consecutive to his current sentence. Laster was ordered to pay a $375 surcharge. The charges stem from a November 2012 incident.

John Robbin, 29, of Five Points Correctional, Romulus pleaded guilty to first-degree attempted promoting prison contraband and was sentenced to one and a half to three years in state prison consecutive to any other charge. Surcharges were deferred. The charges stem from a November 2012 incident.

Thomas Sanger, 46, of Plattsburgh pleaded guilty to felony aggravated driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and backing unsafely and was sentenced to two to six years in state prison. Sanger was ordered to pay $6,150 in fines and surcharges. The charges stem from a March 2012 incident.

Shawn Vargas, 39, of Cadyville pleaded guilty to aggravated driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated as a felony and parking on pavement and was sentenced to five years probation. Vargas was ordered to provide a DNA sample and pay the DNA, $1,000 in fines and a $100 mandatory surcharge. The charges stem from a May 2012 incident.
