PLATTSBURGH — A Keeseville man admitted to burglarizing a Boynton Avenue property Thursday night.
At about 11 p.m., Plattsburgh City Police responded to a burglar alarm at 128 Boynton Ave., Plattsburgh City Police Lt. Scott Beebie said.
Officers found a screen had been removed from a window and it looked as though the building had been unlawfully entered, he said.
Upon searching the area, officers located Gerald Maye, 47, across the street in Melissa L. Penfield Park, Beebie said.
Maye admitted to the burglary, Beebie said.
Maye was held overnight at the City Police station and was arraigned Friday morning in Plattsburgh City Court.
He was taken to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
