SARANAC LAKE — A Saranac Lake man faces two felony charges after his arrest early Christmas morning.
Saranac Lake Village Police reported they responded to a call about a domestic dispute. During that incident, Michael L. Bombard, 24, is alleged to have stabbed his girlfriend in the leg with a knife.
The victim was transported to Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake where she was treated and released, said Sgt. William Cote of the Saranac Lake Police Department.
Bombard was taken into custody at 12:25 a.m. and charged with second-degree assault and third-degree. He was arraigned in Saranac Lake Village Court and remanded to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $75,000 cash or $150,000 bond.
