PLATTSBURGH — A Peru woman was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance Monday.
In the beginning of April Samantha Vallieres, 18, visited a family residence on Standish Street and over the course of about two visits allegedly took hydrocodone and $350 in cash from the residence, Plattsburgh City Police Lt. Scott Beebie said.
Vallieres was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
She was arraigned before Plattsburgh City Court Judge Mark Rogers and was sent to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
