DANNEMORA — An inmate at Clinton Correctional Facility was charged July 25 with promoting prison contraband.
Khyrie Oliver, 24, was allegedly in possession of a 10-inch-long piece of a wooden broom handle that was sharpened to a point on one end, according to Plattsburgh-based State Police.
He was charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both felonies.
Oliver was arraigned and taken back to prison, police said.
