MALONE — A Malone man was charged Friday with six felonies related to illegal gun sale and possession.
Alain D. Forget, 43, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a firearm; two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a firearm and three counts of third-degree criminal sale of a firearm, State Police said in a news release.
Forget’s arrest was the result an investigation this month by the State Police Troop B Gun Investigation Unit and Franklin County District Attorney Derek Champagne, police said.
Forget was sent to Franklin County Jail to await arraignment in County Court before Judge Robert Main Jr., police said.
No further information was available Friday.
