PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh man was found not guilty Aug. 3 of stealing a Ski Doo snowmobile from Dannemora.
Dennis P. Giddings Jr., 30, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony, and went on trial earlier this week in Clinton County Court, according to a press release from Giddings’s lawyer, Rebecca Fox of Plattsburgh.
No one else has been charged with the crime, the release said.
After a day of testimony, the case went to the jury Thursday morning and they returned their not guilty verdict after a brief deliberation, according to the release.
Clinton County Assistant District Attorney Douglas Collyer prosecuted the case, the release said.
