---- — PLATTSBURGH — A Schuyler Falls man was injured Wednesday when his motorcycle was hit by another vehicle, police said.
Police believe Katherine Tote, 21, of Hermon, N.Y., was driving east on Broad Street when she attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Durkee Street and struck 20-year-old Nathan Purick’s motorcycle, which was stopped at the intersection of Durkee Street and Broad Street, Plattsburgh City Police said.
At 7:44 p.m., officers arrived at the intersection of Broad Street and Durkee Street and found Purick, who seemed to have a broken leg, police said.
He was taken to CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh for treatment, Plattsburgh City Police said.
Chris Blake, a spokesperson for CVPH Medical Center, said Purick was transferred to Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt., that night.
Purick was under evaluation at Fletcher Allen Health Care Thursday afternoon, according to the hospital’s marketing and communications department.
Tote was cited for making an improper turn.
