SCHROON — Three locals were charged Jan. 15 with grand larceny.
National Grid reported 3,413 feet of copper wire was stolen from River Road in the Town of Schroon, State Police said.
Arrested in the alleged crime were Kendall J. McLaughlin, 33, of Ticonderoga; Jesse M. Maye, 26, of Ticonderoga, and Raymond D. Holman, 40, of Port Henry.
McLaughlin was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a misdemeanor.
Maye and Holman were charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
They were released on court appearance tickets returnable to Schroon Town Court.
