SARANAC — A Redford man was charged Dec. 14, 2013 with grand larceny.
At 2:30 a.m., police took a report from a Bucks Corners Road resident of a 1998 Dodge Ram with a snow plow on the front of it that had been stolen from his back yard, State Police said.
Troopers went searching in a sand pit off of Brown Road in Plattsburgh and found Scott J. Waldron, 17, fleeing the truck and running into the woods, police said.
Clinton County Sheriff’s deputies, troopers and a State Police K9 went to a residence on Brown Road and found Waldron underneath a bunk bed set in a bedroom, police said.
Waldron was charged with third-degree grand larceny, a felony, and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor.
He was arraigned in Saranac Town Court and was sent to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail.
