PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh man was charged with forgery Dec. 14, 2013.
Ralph Ciocca, 76, altered a rent check from a tenant of his, increasing the amount from $250 to $650, State Police said.
The tenant sent the check to Ciocca in Oct. 2013, police said, and her bank later notified her that the account had been overdrawn.
Ciocca was charged with second-degree forgery, a felony.
He was arraigned in Beekmantown Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
