PLATTSBURGH — An Altona man was charged with two felonies Jan. 1.
Christiansen T. Page, 20, allegedly drove to the residence of a family member and struck the first victim on the left side of his face, according to State Police.
Page allegedly made a second effort to fight with the first victim about two hours later. The second victim, a family member, confronted the two vehicles that drove up and was subsequently struck in the head multiple times with a chair dowel with nails, police said.
Page was arrested and charged with third-degree assault for punching the first victim, a misdemeanor. He was also charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor, and second-degree strangulation and second-degree assault, both felonies.
He was arraigned in Plattsburgh Town Court and was released on the pre-trial release program. He was to reappear in court Jan. 7.
The two injured victims were treated and released.
