PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh man was charged with felony criminal contempt Saturday.
Tanner J. Crowningshield, 21, allegedly purchased alcohol for his 19-year-old girlfriend and then later caused her injury during a domestic dispute, pinning her down and punching her in the face, according to a news release from State Police.
Crowningshield also allegedly violated an existing Plattsburgh City Court Order of Protection, mandating that he not assault or harass the victim, the release said.
He was arraigned in Town of Peru Court and remanded to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond. He is scheduled to reappear in Town of Plattsburgh Court Feb. 11 at 4 p.m.
