PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh man was charged Wednesday with attempted grand larceny.
At about 10:20 p.m., troopers responded 1678 Military Turnpike in the Town of Plattsburgh for a report of a stolen vehicle, State Police said.
A white male wearing a white shirt and blue pajama pants had fled the area on foot following a confrontation with the owner of the car, police said.
The suspect, Tucker J. Hackett, 20, was soon found by troopers walking on Tom Miller Road, police said.
He was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.
Hackett was arraigned in Plattsburgh Town Court and sent to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash or $4,000 bond.
He is due back in court Monday.
