SAINT ARMAND — Two people were injured in a one-car accident Monday.
Ethan K. Woodruff, 20, of Vermontville was driving east on State Route 3 in the Town of St. Armand when he lost control of his vehicle because he was allegedly driving too fast for the road conditions, according to Ray Brook-based State Police.
The vehicle rotated counterclockwise and crossed into the westbound lane, exiting the road via the north shoulder. The vehicle, continuing to rotate counterclockwise, struck a ditch and an earth embankment with the front driver’s side bumper and the passenger’s side of the vehicle, according to police. The vehicle stopped on the north shoulder of the roadway.
Woodruff and his passenger Katlyne M. Coleman, 18, of Bloomingdale were transported by Saranac Lake Rescue to Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake where they were treated for minor injuries.
