ALTONA — Three people were injured in a car accident Tuesday.
Amanda L. LeDuc, 33, of Merrill was driving east on the Alder Bend Road in the Town of Altona near the intersection with Plank Road when she failed to adhere to a lefthand curve in the road and exited the north shoulder of the roadway, striking a large rock and overturning, coming to a stop on the passenger’s side, according to Ellenburg-based State Police.
LeDuc and her two children, Isabelle D. LeDuc, 15, and Andrew S. LeDuc, 11, were transported to Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital by Altona rescue where they were all treated and released.
LeDuc was ticketed for driving too fast for the road conditions. The road was lightly coated with snow at the time of the accident, police said.
