Court Sentencings: Jan. 19, 2013

CLINTON COUNTY COURT

Recent sentencing handed down by Clinton County Judge Kevin Ryan:

Anthony L. Davis, 37, of Plattsburgh was sentenced to to 90 days in jail and five years probation after pleading guilty to felony driving while intoxicated and unlawful use of mobile phone, stemming from a May 2012 incident. Davis was also ordered by pay a $3,100 fine and a $570 surcharge.

Danielle Guay, 27, of Champlain was sentenced to 90 days electronic home monitoring and five years probation. She was also ordered to pay a $3,100 fine, a $620 surcharge a DNA sample/fee waive appeal and other fees. Guay pleaded guilty to felony driving while intoxicated and failure to signal. 

Jerilynn Lamere, 42, of Redford was sentenced to 10 days in jail and five years probation after pleading guilty to aggravated driving while intoxicated, refusal to take breath test and improper backing, stemming from a March 2012 incident. Lamere was ordered to pay $3,250 in fines and a $2,000 surcharge.

Gerard R. LaValley, 54, of Plattsburgh was sentenced to one year in jail after pleading guilty to felony driving while intoxicated and failing to keep right, stemming from an incident in April of 2012. LaValley was ordered to pay a $1,500 DWI-related fine, a $100 fine, a $570 surcharge. He was also ordered to provide a DNA sample.

John N. Ward, 61, of Saranac was sentenced to one year in jail after pleading guilty to felony driving while intoxicated and moving from a lane unsafely, stemming from an incident from July 2012. Ward was also ordered to provide DNA sample and pay the DNA fee, $1100 in fines and $570 in surcharges.

Christopher Waterson, 21, of Plattsburgh was sentenced to a year-and-a-half in state prison with one year post release supervision after pleading guilty to two counts of fifth-degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance. Waterson was also ordered to pay $375 total in fees and provide a DNA sample. His license was suspended.
