MALONE — A man’s injury, and his arrest on a felony drunken driving charge, followed a Nov. 22 accident, according to State Police.
Stacy W. Soucy, 45, of Plattsburgh was driving southbound on Route 30 in Malone when he failed to stay in his lane, allegedly due to unsafe speed, and went off the shoulder of the road, hitting a mailbox, Malone-based State Police said.
Soucy then continued south, hitting a utility pole, at which point the vehicle overturned and came to rest, and Soucy was ejected, police said.
He was transported to Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone.
State Police observed blood on his head, and also said he complained of pain in his leg.
Soucy was charged with felony driving while intoxicated with two previous convictions in the past 10 years, police said.
He was also cited for several traffic infractions.
