BURKE — An Albany man was charged with forgery and petit larceny Jan. 11 for allegedly cashing forged checks.

Linsley was charged with second-degree forgery, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor, for allegedly stealing a motorcycle helmet from the residence in which he was staying, police said.

For the forgery charge, Linsley was released to the supervision of the New York State Probation Department and ordered to appear in the Chateaugay Town Court on Jan. 14, police said
