PERU — A Peru woman wanted by Florida’s Orange County Sheriff’s Office was arrested Sunday in Clinton County.
Nicole Steady, 34, was taken into custody by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office at 10 a.m. after being located at a residence in Peru.
Steady is wanted in Florida on felony charges, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office in Clinton County.
She was charged Sunday with being a fugitive from justice from the State of Florida, a felony, and arraigned in the Town of Plattsburgh Court.
Steady was then committed to the Clinton County Jail without bail pending extradition to Florida.
