BRUSHTON — A Bangor man was arrested on one felony charge and six non-felony charges stemming from an alleged domestic dispute on Dec. 11.
According to Malone-based State Police, Matthew J. Hosler, 22, purposely ran into his girlfriend’s Ford Ranger pickup with his vehicle following an incident on Wagner Road in Brushton.
The incident was reported to police at 12:10 a.m.
Hosler was arrested 40 minutes later.
He was charged with third-degree criminal mischief of property valued at more than $250, a felony. Hosler was also charged with four misdemeanors: third-degree assault, second-degree reckless endangerment, fourth-degree criminal mischief in accordance with preventing an emergency call and resisting arrest. In addition, he was charged with second-degree harassment with physical contract and unlawful possession of marijuana, both violations.
The police report was incomplete and no information was available as to any injuries the victim may have sustained.
Hosler was arraigned in Bangor Town Court and remanded to the Franklin County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond. He was still incarcerated as of Wednesday night, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.
