PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh man faces felony charges after an altercation.
According to a Clinton County Sheriff's Office news release, Clarence L. Jackson, 36, had allegedly unlawfully entered a dwelling and physically restrained an individual inside while possessing a dangerous weapon.
He was arrested at 4:15 p.m. Sunday.
He faces felony charges of first-degree burglary, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree unlawful imprisonment.
He also faces misdemeanor charges of second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree menacing, and a violation for second-degree harassment.
The release said he was arraigned in Plattsburgh Town Court and remanded to Clinton County Correctional Facility without bail due to prior felony convictions.
