NORTH ELBA — One person was injured in a two-car accident Thursday.
At about 4:53 p.m., Derek A. Osgood, 24, of Hyde Park, Vt., was traveling westbound on Route 86 when he struck another car from behind that had slowed to make a left turn, Ray Brook-based State Police said.
Osgood was not injured, but the driver of the other vehicle, Scott R. Patnode, 52, of Saranac Lake, complained of head and neck pain and was transported to Adirondack Medical Center at Lake Placid, police said.
Both vehicles were towed and no tickets were issued, police said.
