PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh man was charged with felony drunken driving Friday afternoon.
Robert Gebhardt, 64, allegedly backed into another vehicle at Eco Car Wash on Cornelia Street, leaving minor damage, which prompted the store employees to report the accident, Plattsburgh City Police said.
Gebhardt tried to leave the scene, but the employees kept him on location, police said.
He was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, with a prior offense, a felony, and he was issued a traffic ticket, police said.
Gebhardt was arraigned in the City of Plattsburgh Court, and was released on his own recognizance, police said.
