PLATTSBURGH — A Saranac woman was charged Nov. 7 with forgery.
Kristy L. Rozell, 21, stole a check from her boyfriend’s place of employment, XL Automotive and Transmission in Plattsburgh, according to State Police Troop B Public Information Officer Trooper Jennifer Fleishman.
On Oct. 25, Rozell cashed the $400 check at Price Chopper in Plattsburgh, Fleishman said.
The alleged crime was reported at 12:26 a.m. Oct. 24, according to a State Police blotter entry.
She was charged with two counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument, a felony, and two counts of petit larceny.
Rozell was arraigned in Plattsburgh Town Court and was sent to the Clinton County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond.
