LAKE PLACID — A Wilmington man was charged with felony criminal contempt Sunday night.
Walter L. Blair, 43, allegedly disobeyed a court order by violating an order of protection, making contact with the protected party multiple times, according to a Lake Placid Police Department news release.
Blair was arrested and charged with first degree criminal contempt, making repeated phone calls, a felony. He was also charged with second degree criminal contempt, disobeying a court order, a misdemeanor.
Blair was arraigned in Lake Placid Village Court and remanded to Essex County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail. He is scheduled to reappear in court at a later date.
