CHAMPLAIN — A woman from Alburgh, Vt., was charged with grand larceny Dec. 27.
Following an investigating by the New York State Department of Labor, Tia M. Perreault, 24, was allegedly employed while at the same time receiving unemployment benefits, according to Chazy-based State Police.
Perreault turned herself into State Police and was charged with third-degree grand larceny, a felony, police said.
She was arraigned in Town of Champlain Court and was released to reappear later in January.
