PLATTSBURGH — Two Plattsburgh women were arrested in March in connection with money that allegedly went missing from the company for which they worked.
Autumn R. Laforge, 31, was charged with first-degree falsifying business records, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
Darlene E. Guerard, 29, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.
Laforge falsely completed a deposit log entry to help facilitate Guerard take $2,305.99 from the Piercing Pagoda in Champlain Centre mall in the Town of Plattsburgh where the two women worked, State Police said.
The money was originally reported missing on Jan. 31, police said.
Both women were released on court appearance tickets returnable to Plattsburgh Town Court, police said.
