Police Log: May 16, 2014 — Personal-injury accident

PLATTSBURGH — A Morrisonville man was injured Wednesday in a three-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle.

Shortly before 1:09 p.m., Larry M. McGee, 56, was stopped in traffic facing east on Route 3 in the Town of Plattsburgh waiting to turn his motorcycle left into Lake City Choppers, State Police said.

Morgan E. McCasland, 17, of Saranac was also driving eastbound on Route 3 and didn’t see McGee stopped in front of her, police said.

McCasland struck the back of McGee’s motorcycle, ejecting him from the vehicle, police said.

McGee fell into the westbound lane where he was struck by a third vehicle driven by Adam C. Tamer, 29, of Chazy who was traveling west on Route 3, police said.

McGee was taken to CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh for treatment of minor injuries, police said.

McCasland was ticketed for following too closely.
