PLATTSBURGH — A Chateaugay teen was charged with criminal mischief May 16.
The original incident was reported to State Police at 10:12 p.m. May 11, according to a State Police blotter entry.
There had allegedly been a fight in an area known as the “sand pits” near Brown Road in the Town of Plattsburgh, Plattsburgh-based State Police said.
Dylan J. Dumas, 17, allegedly walked up to the car of another person and began punching and kicking the vehicle, causing damage to the rear end of the passenger’s side, Plattsburgh-based State Police said.
Then Dumas allegedly rammed an ATV into the person’s car, police said.
Dumas was arrested May 16 and was charged with third-degree criminal mischief of property valued at more than $250, a felony.
He was released on a court appearance ticket, police said.
