WILLSBORO — An Elizabethtown woman was charged Oct. 8 with forgery.
A woman reported to police that a check was taken from her residence in Willsboro, said State Police Troop B Public Information Officer Trooper Jennifer Fleishman.
The report was made on Sept. 24, 2013, according to a State Police blotter entry.
Rebecca I. Mitchell, 36, cashed the check for $60 at Byrd’s Country Store in Willsboro, Fleishman said.
Mitchell was charged with second-degree forgery, a felony.
She was arraigned in Willsboro Town Court and was released on her own recognizance to reappear in court at a later date.
