PLATTSBURGH — An Altona man was charged Friday with violating the terms of his probation.
Cory R. Rock, 23, was arrested on a parole violation warrant by Clinton County Sheriff’s deputies, according to a news release from the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department.
After his arrest, Rock was found with a hypodermic syringe and marijuana, according to the release.
Rock was charged with a felony violation of probation on Friday and the next day he was charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
He was arraigned on the probation violation charge in Clinton County Court Friday and was sent to the Clinton County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
For the other two charges, Rock was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Plattsburgh Town Court on Oct. 15.
