Police log: Oct. 2, 2013 — Felony arrest

PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh woman was arrested Sept. 20 for alleged domestic violence.

According to Plattsburgh City Police, at 8:18 p.m., officers responded to a report that Michele M. Johnson, 38, had allegedly picked up and thrown a glass ashtray at her husband, striking him in the head.

Johnson was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony; second-degree assault, a felony; fourth-degree attempted criminal mischief, a misdemeanor; and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, for allegedly repeatedly using her feet to kick the rear door of the arresting officer’s vehicle.

Johnson was arraigned in Plattsburgh City Court and was taken to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail or $500 bond.
