PLATTSBURGH — A Morrisonville man was arrested March 23 on burglary and stolen property charges.
On March 17, a Morrisonville resident told police a tool shed on State Route 3 in Morrisonville had been burglarized, Plattsburgh-based State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation Investigator Larry Cragle said.
Missing from the shed were battery-operated tools, a pocket saw, a hedge trimmer and another saw, Cragle said.
Trooper Mohammad Amin later located the tools at Everything Under the Sun pawn shop on Rugar Street in Plattsburgh, Cragle said.
Amin interviewed the owner of the shop and determined that Craig A. Livesey, 18, had sold the tools to the pawn shop, he said.
Livesey was arrested March 23 and was charged with third-degree burglary, a felony, and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor.
He was arraigned in Plattsburgh Town Court and released in accordance with a pretrial release program, Cragle said.
Livesey is due in Plattsburgh Town Court on April 18.
