PLATTSBURGH — A Keeseville man was arrested March 13 for allegedly stealing a car, police said.
Christopher F. Rock, 38, allegedly borrowed a vehicle from a person with consent but never returned it, Plattsburgh-based State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation Investigator Larry Cragle said.
The owner of the 1996 Chevrolet pickup truck reported the vehicle missing to State Police in the summer of 2012, Cragle said.
Police investigation led them to Rock and he was arrested at the Clinton County Jail where he was incarcerated on previous burglary charges, Cragle said.
He was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny of an automobile valued at more than $1,000, a felony.
Rock was arraigned in Plattsburgh Town Court and was recommitted to Clinton County Jail, he said.
He was due back in court yesterday.
