MOIRA — A Fort Covington man was arrested March 14 on one felony charge and three misdemeanors.
Devan Cooke, 17, was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, a felony; second-degree criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor; second-degree obstructing governmental administration, a misdemeanor; and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor.
According to Malone-based State Police, Cooke’s father is incarcerated in a federal prison in Florida and Cooke entered his residence when he was previously told not to.
When troopers approached him, he allegedly fled the scene and later dragged a trooper down the road, police said.
The case is connected to other charges Cooke previously incurred, police said.
The incident was originally reported just after midnight July 17, 2012, according to a State Police blotter entry.
No further information could be released.
