---- — BEEKMANTOWN — A Plattsburgh woman was arrested April 4 for alleged possession of a stolen necklace.
Plattsburgh-based State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation Investigator Glenn Huber said that on Dec. 10, 2012, State Police interviewed Natashia M. Bibeau, 32, about her possible involvement in a burglary in the Plattsburgh area on Dec. 8, 2012.
Subsequent investigation found Bibeau to be in possession of a gold chain necklace with a diamond pendant that was missing from a Beekmantown address, Huber said.
The necklace is valued at about $1,400, he said.
Bibeau’s boyfriend at the time of the interview, Christopher F. Rock, 38, of Keeseville, is also a suspect in the burglaries, Huber said.
Bibeau was arrested on April 4 and was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property valued at more than $1,000, a felony.
She was arraigned in Plattsburgh Town Court and released on $750 bail, he said.
She was scheduled to reappear in court yesterday, Huber said.
The case is still under investigation and additional charges are pending, he said.
