ELLENBURG — An Ellenburg Depot man is accused of felony drunken driving.
According to Chazy-based State Police, Brian L. King, 52, was arrested at 7:35 p.m. Friday after failing to stop at a road block on Route 11 in Ellenburg.
Ellenburg Depot Fire Department had closed off a section of the road, police said, so a tractor trailer blocking the roadway could be removed.
The Fire Department told a State Trooper on scene that King had driven past the road block, according to police.
Upon locating King, police said, the trooper found him to be intoxicated.
King was charged with felony driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction within the last 10 years and failure to obey a police or fire officer, an infraction.
He was arraigned in Town Court and released on $750 bail.
King is scheduled to reappear in court Thursday.
