PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh man was arrested April 1 in connection with a fight that happened in 2010.
Darnell McKeller, 21, was charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal mischief for allegedly recklessly damaging property, Plattsburgh City Police Lt. Scott Beebie said.
The fight among several individuals happened March 28, 2010, in the parking lot of Bazzano’s Pizza on South Catherine Street, Beebie said.
McKeller allegedly injured a male victim who was taken to CVPH Medical Center for treatment, he said.
The victim required extensive medical procedures following the alleged fight, Beebie said.
McKeller was originally arrested in Utica in January 2011 and brought back to Plattsburgh, he said.
He was transported from Utica back to Plattsburgh again and was arrested April 1, 2013, on a bench warrant issued by Plattsburgh City Court, Beebie said.
McKeller was arraigned in City Court and taken to Clinton County Jail on April 1. The court released him from jail the next day, according to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department.
McKeller’s case is pending further action by City Court Judge Mark Rogers, Beebie said.
