CHAMPLAIN — A Rouses Point woman was injured in a one-car motor vehicle accident Friday.
According to Chazy-based State Police, Jacqueline L. Barcomb, 19, was traveling eastbound on Prospect Avenue at about 7:25 a.m. Friday when she lost control of her Honda Civic.
The vehicle exited the right side of the roadway, striking an earthen embankment and turning upside down before striking a tree. Barcomb was traveling too fast for a curve in the roadway, police said.
Barcomb was transported to CVPH Medical Center for shoulder pain and a laceration on her finger.
